UHV Fittings.

We offer a comprehensive range of UHV fittings manufactured from 304 stainless steel to suit most customer applications. The large range of styles and sizes allows complicated chamber configurations to be built from a standard range of components enabling anything from a simple pumping line to a complete system to be made.

Fittings are manufactured under closely controlled conditions resulting in very high quality components with low outgassing rates. The use of full internal welds wherever it is possible minimises the changes of virtual leaks and subsequent outgassing problems. The strong fully TIG welded construction of the UHV fittings allows for use (subject to their flange and gasket terminations) in temperatures ranging from +450°C down to liquid Nitrogen.

Bolt Hole Orientations.

Many of the fittings are available with the option of having the fixed flange welded in one of two orientations - Inline or Straddled - the drawings below show the differences. Please examine your system’s mounting flange orientation before choosing your components. Flanges that are rotatable can be made to fit either mounting orientation.
